Homestead Metul
The Metul homestead is located in the middle of unspoilt nature, surrounded by meadows and forests. We are 100 meters above sea level from the village of Luče, so you can enjoy wonderful panoramic views of Luče, Raduha and the surrounding peaks (Dleskovškova plateau, Križevnik, Veliki vrh, Velika planina).
The history of the homestead goes back to the year 1426, when the landowner Urh (Ulrik) Metul is mentioned for the first time in the records. Since then, 13 families have lived on Metulovo. The main activity of the farm has always been animal husbandry. Before the 1930s, Bine's father and Jožica's mother decided to expand their activities for the purposes of tourism, and thus the farm became a tourist farm. With the retirement of mother and father, the farm was taken over by the 13 Metul family: son Tomaž and wife Tadej, and sons Tina and Nace.
We adapted the upper part of the house and modernly furnished two apartments with their own entrance. We built an outdoor swimming pool with a retractable roof next to the house, so the swimming season in these mountain areas can be extended considerably.

At the Metul homestead, you can take a break from the everyday hustle and bustle, enjoy the peace and quiet, or you can choose a more active vacation and explore the surroundings with E-bikes or on foot. Upon request, we will organize sightseeing trips (Robanov kot, Matkov kot, Logarska dolina, visit to planšaria...).
